Which level is best for you?

Level 1- Beginner (Novice/Curious)- Focuses on learning the machine, sewing straight seams, and basic projects like simple bags, scrunchies, or keychains.

Level 2- Advanced Beginner (Capable)- Comfortable with basic, simple patterns and can install simple zipper or buttons. They are learning to navigate different fabric types (knit vs. wovens) and basic garment construction.

Level 3- Intermediate (Confident)- Proficient in sewing, understanding grainlines, and executing techniques like zippers, linings, and pockets. They can follow more complex patterns and begin making basic fit adjustments.

Level 4- Advanced (Very Experienced)- Masters complex techniques, tricky fabrics (sild, velvet), and advanced fitting adjustments. They can modify patterns, draft their own, and utilize couture finishing methods.

Sewing Class
$30.00

The base price of each class is $30. Projects can be added on and will vary depending on project selected. Most projects will range from $5-$30.

Level 1- This class will focus on the components and basics of the sewing machine. It will teach important vocabulary and cover different tools used for sewing projects. There will be hands on practice getting familiar and comfortable with the machine and how to sew simple seams.

Level 2- This class will focus on advancing previous sewing knowledge and skills. It will take mastered skills and create a project from selection available to complete and take home. Base price of class is $30. Projects will range from $5-$30 depending on project selected.

Level 3- This class will build off sewing knowledge and comfort level. It will focus on completing project of choice while enhancing skill level to take project to the next level.

Level 4- This class will focus on specific skills that you want to improve on. Projects may reflect specific skills that you want to work on improving. If Level 4 is selected, I will work with you to tailor a class that will best suit your ability and move you to becoming more confident in your skills.

What to Expect

Expect hands-on fun, new skills, and a mix of structured activities as well as time to practice new skills and work on projects.

Ages 6 and up; must be able to safely work with sharp tools and sewing machines.
