Welcome, I’m Bethany, a self-taught sewist with over 20 years of experience. What started as a self-taught hobby has grown into a full creative business. I began by making dresses for myself and sewing bags, learning through trial, curiosity, and a whole lot of seam ripping! Over time, my skills expanded, and now I create just about anything that can be made with fabric. In this season, my work focuses on children’s clothing, along with select adult pieces, accessories, and custom sewing projects. I love creating items that are both practical and special—pieces meant to be worn, used, and loved. In addition to sewing, I also offer sewing classes because teaching is close to my heart. With a background as a special education teacher, I truly enjoy helping others learn at their own pace and discover the joy and confidence that comes with sewing.   • Level 1- Beginner (Novice/Curious)- Focuses on learning the machine, sewing straight seams, and basic projects like simple bags.

    Level 2- Advanced Beginner (Capable)- Comfortable with basic, simple patterns and can install simple zipper or buttons. They are learning to navigate different fabric types (knit vs. wovens) and basic garment construction.

    Level 3- Intermediate (Confident)- Proficient in sewing, understanding grainlines, and executing techniques like zippers, linings, and pockets. They can follow more complex patterns and begin making basic fit adjustments.

    Level 4- Advanced (Very Experienced)- Masters complex techniques, tricky fabrics (sild, velvet), and advanced fitting adjustments. They can modify patterns, draft their own, and utilize couture finishing methods.
